Capping covers the old timber with a uPVC skin. It can look fine at first, but any rot underneath keeps spreading. Full replacement removes the old boards, so we check the timber at the survey and only recommend capping where it is genuinely sound.
Not always. If your gutters are in good condition we can refit them, but gutters are fixed to the fascias, so most customers replace both together to save on access and a second visit.
